    Why is it that...?

    Just been to the theatre. Why is that the people who have booked seats in the centre of the row are always the last to turn up?
    Sometimes I drink water. I like to give my liver an occasional surprise!

          And why is it that many places show opening/pub food times as 12p.m.? There is no such time any more than there is a 12a.m. 12 is the m and therefore cannot be 'p' it or 'a' it. What's wrong with 12 noon (or midnight if necessary)?

              And why do I spend twenty minutes looking for something, getting more and more frustrated and then Mrs C comes along and points to it immediately in front of me?
