    Golden Gate Bridge

Just back from 3 weeks touring California with an RV, starting and finishing in San Francisco via Los Angeles, Death Valley, Yosemite and many places in between.

No visit to SC would be complete without viewing, walking and shooting the bridge

Welcome back Stan. Caught the bridge beautifully and in much better weather than we have been having. Looking forward to seeing shots of the rest of the trip.

        Lovely shot Stan.

Was there last November but it was during the time of the Forest Fires to the North & we couldn't see from one end of the bridge to the other!
Lots of places were closed because of the weather conditions.

Got a good variety, landscape people vehicles and of course some wildlife

Saw the result of the wildfires as we went through Yosemite, quite frightening. These shots were taken at the beginning of the holiday when someone told us we could walk the bridge and get a ferry back. It was over 30 degrees and just before lunch and having just managed the bridge walk we then found out it was another 2 miles to the ferry, so we walked back instead but would not have missed the walk. The two days at the end of the holiday were quite different, one day was quite chilly and we watched the dreaded bay fog come in and the bridge disappeared
