    Thomas the Tank Engine

    No 1 Thomas the Tank Engine is seen approaching Buckfastleigh station on the South Devon Railway working the 10.23 Caddaford to Buckfastleigh special service train on the 20th October 2019.

        Nice to know that Thomas is still there.On my last visit to Buckfastleigh station in the late 1990s he was in a siding there,presumably on Summer hols.

          Thomas is 'not here' all the time. This year the South Devon Railway has hired the loco twice (May & Oct), it travels down from where it is located/stabled, I have no idea where that is!

            He also used to appear once a year at my local heritage railway,the Great Central,no idea if that still happens though.
