    Now thats the shot I was hoping for when I took my foxglove shot. :o) Nicely done.

      Thanks Di, a bit hit or miss, you don't realise how quickly they flit about until you try to get a shot of them!

          I can relate to that statement as I have also been trying to get pictures of bees the last couple of days with mixed success, Brian (Oldcannon) gave some good advice on my post which was basically don't try and chase the bee wait for them

            Thanks Stan - started out as taking a pic of the foxglove and the bee joined the party. I wasn't using a macro lens so I am reasonably happy with the result.

              Thanks Muscat, I agree re waiting and hoping they will adopt a suitable pose! Even a fraction of a second delay taking the shot meant they were inside a bloom by the time the shutter fired, got quite a few of bits of tail disappearing!

                  Thanks MX5 - mine is technically a weed, just appeared beside the garden shed, but it is thriving and a nice looking specimen. I like how the newer blooms have the creamy interior which seems to fade away as the blooms grow.
