    Bamburgh

    Hi ,
Been a bit of a lurker since joining and trying to decide on what equipment to buy but after making my choice earlier in the week we went up to Bamburgh yesterday to try out the new acquisitions , lovely day and we did a bit of a walk around the castle .

I'm well impressed by the Sigma 10-20mm and the EF 24-105mm after my previous canon lenses , just need to give the 70-300mm a try out now .

    Cheers
    Gordon

Hi Gordon and welcome...nice shots of the castle and the beach.

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

Thank you for your welcome and kind words !
I can't wait to visit some our our local favourite haunts with the new camera and come September when we go over to Islay looking forward to trying the Sigma 10-20mm in the Ardbeg Still House amongst other places on the Isle !

Hi Gordon, Looks like we have the same kit! I love my 10-20mm and use when ever I can to capture big landscapes and skies. I hope you enjoy it as much as me.

              Snap Jonesgj !
It was hard making the decision on the lenses , the 24-105 was straight forward but originally i was going to go for the Canon 10-22 before a couple of online friends recommended the Sigma and it does look good .
Originally the choice for the Tele-zoom was between the 70-300 and the 100-400 , i decided that i didn't need the extra 100mm and would prefer the newer lens with the better optics .
