All taken during a frenetic Calesh ride through Luxor, the type where the driver thinks a 5 foot wide carriage will go through a 3 foot gap...

I remember this market when I was in Egypt. Very busy. Lovely shots but personally I probably would have preferred them in their full colour...something about markets and the multitude of colours!

Sorry but not for me either. I don't mind the exaggerated vignetting but don't like the false colour.

Hey Chris, as the colours didnt quite work here, do you mind posting a second set with the original full colour...for comparison. You dont have to though

I must be in the minority - I like low saturation pictures - like Tastino does. It is a alternative to monochrome reminding me of the pictures of the 1920's and 30's where black and whites were hand tinted . The vignetting fits with the old style colours

I've just got back from work, so it's been interesting reading all your comments - thank you for all your views.

Obviously the treatment of these images doesn't press everyone's button! No problem, Brian it's just you and me then!

I prefer the moody ones. The full colour are more like holiday snaps to me
