Visited Penshurst Place near Tonbridge in Kent a couple of weeks ago. Was taken by this collection of coins in a basin that fed a pond. Water was dripping into one corner -
Like the way the ripples spread across the picture and have picked up the sun, and the way in which some coins are begininng to discolour.
And if anyone is well versed in numistmatism, what are the two coins that fill most of the frame here? (From the left of the lower 10p piece in the main picture; shapes are distorted by the water movement.)
