    Pigeon Print

    The sparrowhawk visited again today (and went away empty handed) and in all the panic, one of the wood pigeons tried to escape by flying (unsuccessfully) through the kitchen window.

    It did leave its mark however, and if you look carefully at the top of the white patterning, you can make out the outline of the head, eye and beak. I bet it had a headache!

    That's a cool shot. I'll bet he is still feeling that hit. Enjoy the M3 John.

      Ouch! We often see bird strikes similar to that - I'm always surprised they just fly away afterwards. Good capture!
