    Fog on the Mersey

Up and out for 4.30 this morning. I have a particular image I've been trying to get.
I need a foggy night/morning. unfortunately it was too dense today.
But on the way home I dropped down under the old Runcorn/Widnes bridge and got these.

There are two 4:30's in one day! Who knew...

Shame you couldn't get the shot you wanted but the one's you did get were worth it - especially the last one. The way the curvature of bridge flows into the mist is fabulous (though I would lose some of the muddy foreground).

+ for the last one (even with all the mud)

Great curves on the last one, I love the angle.
Agree with some other posters to lose some foreground mud,, did you try any similar shots in landscape view ?

I did take some in landscape but felt that the bridge behind the main subject became a distraction.

I see what you mean, the second bridge is a distraction
                  Still a cracking shot though!

4.30? Now that is an early start. Great set, first and last ones for me.
I hope you manage to get the photo you want - will you have to wait until Autumn for the right weather?

I was surprised when I saw the fog forecast for yesterday morning, so there is still a chance as long as I'm not in work.
                      But most probably yes.

It was last autumn I got the idea for the picture as I saw exactly what I want to catch, unfortunately on that occasion, I was on my way to work.
