The is the remains of Warblington Castle in Hampshire. It's current state is the result of Mr Cromwell's men who knocked it about a bit (a lot actually)... There's more about it here.

It was well hot let alone lovely - right in the heart of the heatwave. As the papers would say "Phew, what a scorcher!"...
