    Bosham Church

I've not had time for much photography as my kitchen is in the process of being replaced!

In the meantime here are a couple of photos I took at Bosham the same day as the Ice Cream van.
As always all help, observations and comments welcome.

    Nice set.

Must admit it's been a while since I actually went into the church, something I guess I should rectify...

It had been sometime since I’d been into the church too.

Nice set Rose and well exposed. Everytime I've gone to churches or castles, I've always found they're and insanely dark as far as our cameras are concerned and I always end up with underexposed images at first. Visited a little church on Lindisfarne last year and I could get an exposure without the the use of a tripod (which isn't ideal, because some people like to 'Tut') but you've exposed well here.

I've always liked my church images in Mono, could be worth a play around

            Thanks Nathan.
The first image was, as you suspect somewhat dark so this one I tried to adjust with photoshop - not easy to get right when the light was streaming through the window straight ahead.
For the second two pics I was lucky enough to be able to rest my camera on pew.

I’ll try mono - when I can get a few mins on my pc……

Nice trio of images Rose, well done

I think there maybe some more recoverable detail through the windows in the first image.

To do so you would need to try a local adjustment (on a new/separate layer) to that area by reducing the highlights to see what is there to recover.
