Carvings from St Eval Church, Cornwall

SWMBO and I visited the Parish Church of St Eval in Cornwall last week . We had a special reason to go (which I will cover in another post) but we had not realised how lovely the interior is. These carved pews and pulpit date (if memory serves) from the late 1600s.

Nice set John. There are some excellent carvings to be seen in many of our Churches, all too often they go unseen.

Enjoyable set John looks an interesting church, good to see it open. Surprised Rick Stein hasn’t taken it over so close to Padstow.

Super set which beautifully shows the craftsmanship.
I love looking at churches, I think this one would have that special feel / scent.

They put a lot of effort into those carvings - well photographed.
