    It looks a bit wet there Brian, please tell me they are not building on a flood plain - low lying mist!!
    Down here they've just built a new town on the outskirts of Exeter - Cranbrook, it's massive was all good farming land.

      I think this was good farming land....I stay at a hotel there only once a year.....this was a few years ago....slightly different angle but the same land

        We face a similar threat - 550 houses on good farmland - it will increase the size of our village by 25% in one go.

        I know houses are needed, but in an increasingly fractious world, so is home-grown food!

          I agree…brownfield sites first. The govt hasn’t learnt that we need strategic independence of food energy etc etc
