Northern Lights Star Trail

Star Trails was the real reason for going out Thursday evening, (the night we caught a glimpse of the northern lights in the UK)
Not sure if it added to the image or spoiled it?

Around 80 images make up the one shot and a time scale of about 1 hour give or take.

I definitely think the aurora make the image Paul, they're unusual and you could get the star trails image anytime, so your image is special :)

I particularly like the way the tree is silhouetted against the glorious colours.

I'm so jealous!
