    The Moon Tonight

Hot off the press and shot half an hour ago with the moon very low in the sky. 300 f4 and 1.4x, manual mode, 1/160, f11, ISO 200

This is just the processed jpeg - saw little point in processing the raw on this occasion

Nice shot Stan. I was watching the moon rise and thinking of trying to get a shot, but I was driving down the M40!!

Good shot Stan. Hard to get the full moon well. Would be nice to see some perspective right enough for the size of the supermoon.

Well done Stan; saw the super-moon last night for about five seconds before it got swallowed up by the next batch of inbound remnants of Big Bertha...

                          Cheers guys

I have not shot the moon for ages, after all one moon shot is much the same as the next, but thought as a supermoon would make the effort and managed to shoot it low in the sky in the gap between two houses opposite. Next time, sometime in September i think, will go out and shoot from a location where i can get some context as to the size
