    First astro shots for this season .....

    Both of these shots were 25 images each & stacked in Sequator.
    Both are tight shots of the Milky Way core @ 15secs each

    I’m not jealous at all Doug
    It must be great to have clear sky to view and capture Astro images like these. What lens and settings were you using for these images please

            The details are:
            Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 Di II
            @ 50mm @ f/2.8
            ISO 3200
            15 second captures

            I loaded all 25 into Lightroom, adjusted the first one to my preferences & then synced them all.
            Exported them as TIF's
            Imported the TIF's into Sequator for stacking - left all options as default except for turning on "Enhance star light"
            Exported the resultant stacked image as a TIF & imported back into Lightroom.
            Made some final touches & exported as 100% Jpeg.

            I just love doing astro photos & I'm lucky enough to be in a known dark sky area.
            These were literally taken on my front driveway at 3.30am.
            Next week I'll be taking some in a new location for some foreground content which means a car drive at 2.30am & setting up in the dark.
            Can't wait!!
