I was hoping to cathch the Perseids but.......

....... when I went out to sort out where to set up, I realised that Mother Nature had different ideas and that something was brewing up.

So my thoughts turned to trying to catch some heavenly fireworks instead. I set up the light trigger on the camera and waited.

Eventually the storm came over and although I got plenty of triggers of the camers, very few were worthwhile. The lightning was exclusively cloud to cloud, but I did manage to pin one of the flashes down. Not very dramatic, but better than nothing!
