This is a shot from the Great Dorset Steam Fair last month. With so much smoke from the traction engines, the shot needed a lot of work in PS and a B&W conversion with a slight sepia tone, I thought gives it a timeless feel
50D and 70-200 f2.8 L IS, 1/250 @ f8

Very nice, the aged look is spot on - I like the way the image appears to repeat with all the traction engines receding into the background. Well done!

Very nice indeed. You've kept the crowds to the peripheries too, which isn't always easy at events like this. Great shot.

It looks good printed up. I have one at 15 x 10 which I used in a camera club comp last week and got a 10 for it

Truly excellent Stan! Very effective. I really like the composition, perspective, background... And it just had to be in black and white.
