    Having a clear out of the HD and came across this...shame to delete it...

    As you say Robin it would be a shame to delete it, nice lines leading the viewer around the curve and the figure adds to the image as well.

      Keep it, it's a cracker.

      The only issue I can see is the central lamp post... but I guess it adds to the character.

      I'd be very happy with that shot.

          strangely, Mikey, you were standing behind me when I took this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember..........
          The lamppost is a real pain...Ive been back and dug it up... its in Mikes front garden....nice!

                      Shame indeed; I like this a lot... Great detail; nice & crisp, and the walking pedestrian is essential to the image. Maybe just tweak of perspective adjustment to straighten the edges where they cut to the frame; otherwise... very nice...

                        The lamppost was a big problem for me as was the lady who just seemed a bit too blurred for my taste.

                              My late father worked here for a while in the interregnum twist being a hotel when BR occupied it.

                              Sir John Betjeman would be proud (even of the lamppost).
