    Carrot and friends.

    Black and white veg. I spent a happy hour with my photography light tent, a couple of halogen desk lights and my camera. (Which seems to have spent too much time in its bag lately.)

    Anyway, rest of results scattered around the site and on flickr if you are interested. Sometimes lit from the side, some times lit from both sides. One of the lights has a variable strength so I got to play with how much light there was.

    Decided I liked these better in black and white.

    Sorry but processing seems to have eaten the exif on this.

      Have to agree with Stan Di, the colour versions are much better. They display the very gorgious lighting to much greater effect.

                  Bill the lighting is quite simple. I have a light tent. An eBay special and a complete pain when trying to pack it away. Either side of the tent I use a halogen desk lamp that I can move about. B&Q specials. One as a more yellow light and the other is adjustable in the brightness of the bulb so they seem to work rather well togehther. On occasions also used my flash as well, but straight up and bouncing light off the in built white card.

                  I sometimes like to light from just one side with the light just touching the edges of things, best thing is, in the warmth, if you have time, you can experiment as much as you like.
