    Amish Farm

    Was out in Bethel Township and spotted this Amish farm peaking out on this road that was between the corn stacks. I Exposed 2 images. 1 for the foreground @ 1/60 of sec @ f/22, ISO 200 & 1 for the Sky @ 1/160 sec @ f/22, ISO 22. I then combined them in HDR Pro 2.

    I did this as I did not bring any ND Grad filters with me, and the sky was about a stop and a half brighter than the ground.

    Converted the image to BW using Silver Efex Pro 2

    Camera EOS SL1 (100D) w/Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 @ 75mm

    Great shot - I like the lead in line to the farm in the distance. I find the sky slightly 'over cooked' if you get my meaning - otherwise a super black and white image

      I like the 'rolling' type effect in the clouds you've captured, and the lead in and patterns are good.

          Hi Tom; well seen & super processing... Perhaps just a smidgen off the bottom to bring the horizon down to the thirds ???

          Cheers;

            Great image Tom especially with those rolling clouds.

              Very nice Tom, I think if it was mine I would crop a fair bit off the bottom, probably to the middle of your copyright logo as I think that makes it even stronger.
