    Walnut Harvest

    Jill and I have just returned from our holls in South West France, one evening we headed out for a drive and noticed some villagers working over their Walnut Harvest.

                      Thanks again. The black and white does suit the photo much more so than the colour, the pink Marigolds didn't do a lot for the image.

                              Andy could I just ask the method for taking this photo ? I presume you approached the lady and asked if it was OK to take a photo? or was it a grab it opportunity - if the later how did you stop her from just standing there and smiling towards you, so spoiling the lifestyle type photo..

                              I tried doing something similar with some orange pickers recently but the guys once I pointed towards the camera and smiled ( I don't speak Spanish) stood there and posed for me .. not really the shot I wanted and didn't keep
