    little old curiosity shop

    I saw this shop whilst walking around the town and the owner didn't mind me taking a few pics - converted it to B&W and I think it works

        Hi Ian; I like these images (and these type of shops); there's always something different to see each time you look, and the mono conversion works well here...

          I agree, although I've been in shops like this before and the owners get funny when you start getting a camera out, thankfully this lady was OK

                  Cheers - it is a heavier vignette than I would normally use but I wanted to pull all the attention into the middle - I'll have a look and see if it works with less

                    The conversion to black and white works well... I'd have been tempted to start moving things about. The coat and hat alone on the chair would have made a shot.. but then, I doubt the shop keeper would have been that understanding.

                      I know what you mean - I did want to move the jerry hat ( I think) on the chair but I got one of those "looks" so just smiled and took the shot
