    Dedicated

On our way to church this morning, it was 7 degrees (-13.8889 C). The wind was howling and the snow was blowing onto the road and here in front of me was this dedicated bicycle rider peddling himself down the middle of the road. Just happened to have a camera with me.

    EOS SL1 (100D) w/Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 @ 75mm

    1/160 sec @ f/11, ISO 800

I was driving slowly behind him, while taking this guy's photo, holding the camera w/one hand.

My only comment is that I find it incredible that someone could be so irresponsible as to be driving in such conditions and not being in proper control of the car. Unbelievable

Nice capture Tom and the conversion works really well. That does look VERY cold.

Nice one Tom - you certainly exploit your journalistic style of photography to the full. I also think the over processed feel to the image adds to its impact

I do like your distinctive style. But am not sure I'd have tried to get the shot in those circumstances!

Interesting comment, John, we were traveling under 1 mph stopping and starting, following this gentleman till we got to a place where we could safely pass him. So I had the car under complete control

Tom, not normally sure about that 'bleached out' look, but this time it really works. Nicely processed.
