    Ready for fishing

    It was a nice night so had a walk around the port and a bottle ;o) - I did want to try a longer exposure but the boats were moving too much

    There's a certain calmness about it I like. I'd be inclined to lose the light on the far lower right side though, tone it down a little.

        Well it must be nice to have this on the doorstep!

        Like the conversion and as Alan says it evokes a real calmness.

              Ian, just to say the pic has gone from this thread. You can click through to Flickr and view it there so you may just need to re-do the BB code. I like it, and you got away with minimal mast movement (try saying that after a few sangrias) over the one second exposure. One very minor easily solved quibble is the bright strip on the right hand edge.

              Edit: Aha, you were working on it. It's back.

                        A very nice sheen to the reflections, Ian, it's lovely.
                        Just an observation and I may be wrong, but perhaps it might be a little stronger with a shade of the top, bringing it more towards the thirds?
