This is the latest attraction, a zip wire from the end of the pier to the beach. Its closed out of season at the moment otherwise I would have had a go.....not

Why not Stan? You could get an interesting image with a longish exposure whilst you zip along

        Re: Zip Wire

        Nice one Stan.
I was there in early December and managed to get a couple of shots of some of the nutters riding the zip wire....but... managed to screw up my shutter speed and all I got was a stack of out of focus blurry "mess".
I will be back there this weekend and had hoped to get my act together and get some nice sharp shots but looks like that will be a "no" then.
Perhaps the choice is to get up early and try some beach shots in early morning on Saturday as I am staying at the hotel with the lift thingy that goes down to the beach. Actually have the whole day to myself in Bournemouth as daughter has two interviews at Bournemouth Art University so SWMBO and daughter will not be with me all day.....so am on my own......RESULT!!!! ...... YAHOO ! ! !

best to go further along towards Hengistbury Head as the beach down there has some stone rather than wooden groynes which make for good sunrise long exposure shots.
