Black Nab in black and white

Someone suggested that I try a square crop of an image that I'd already posted. I liked the crop but the colours looked a bit too pale for my taste, so I've tried a black and white version. What do you reckon?

Very strong image which the crop and the black white conversion has given it a great punch.

Yes, it works for me now, like yourself, I thought the colours a little washed out on the coloured version.

Andy, I quite liked the original, but didn't think it exceptional. But this version is. A really strong image, beautifully toned.

Very well captured Andy, people who haven't visited this location don't know how much effort it takes to clamber back up from the beach, well it is an effort from me.

Thanks Peter and Andrew. It was an effort for me too and I walk around 6.5 miles a day with my job. On this occasion Paul and I went together, neither of us had much breath left to talk when we got to the top!
