    Haddo Mansion Inverkeithny - Infrared

The IR converted 50D arrived to replace the failing 20D, so went out looking for the classic combination of buildings and foliage, along with my fascination for all things derelict. The sad story behind this place is that it was owned by a young couple, and she abandoned it when he failed to return from WW1.

I used Advanced Camera Services [www.advancedcameraservices.co.uk/‎] and their price is determined by the type of camera. For a Canon APS-C camera its £250 + VAT which includes a service and recalibration of the autofocus as well as the conversion.

I like the effect it has on the trees and plant life more than on the buildings.
