    HMS Alliance B&W

    whilst there was a good amount of colour for a engine room I want to try it in B&W ..

    the round unit you can see either side are the superchargers with levers to engage

      thanks Tom - I did a little work to make the pushrods darker so they stand out better, but I think it works

        On this occasion i prefer the colour, though still lots of detail it doesn't stand out as much as the colour image!

                The b&w version works ok for me, but I also like the colour one.
                How about doing it so just the red shows? Just an idea, might not work or be worth the effort.

                    If I'm honest Andy I dont think it works - I did pull the vibrancy back a tad on the red as it looked really odd

                      Ian, a second layer with the red on and mask the vibrancy pulled back black & white layer. I prefer the original though.

                              Mono is so yummy Ian. Head and shoulders above the colour, not that that is not a nice one, as it is.
