    Spiral at Tate Britain

It wasn't until we reread the book after our london day in January that we realised that there were two spiral staircases at the Tate Britain so went back there again on Thursday to shoot this one which is the smaller of the two and gives access to the members rooms

Are you thinking of the one on the right of the main entrance - that one was cordoned off and strange there is no mention of it in the book

Walk through the gallery of Turner pictures - near the far end turn right into an empty corridor - it's at the end

This one is not so wide and detailed as the rotunda one but it longer passing through two floors.

Prefer the first version Stan. From that angle it looks like a tunnel to walk down. Love it

                          Re: Spiral at Tate Britain

First one is a classic spiral shot and none the worse for that but I much prefer the second - a really effective study of angles shapes and light.
