    Windmills B&W version

I wasn't sure if a sunset would convert well but it seems to have - Converted in Tonality

Makes the sky look more dramatic but I think I prefer the colour version overall

I'm split TBH Stan - I like this as its more gothic and powerful where as the colour is a pleasant sunset

Hate to say this, but I also prefer the color image as there doesn't seem to be a lot of tonal separation between the windmills and the cliffs IMO

cheers Tom - must admit I thought the windmills did stand out well, but cheers for your views

Well processed Ian, prefer the colour shot but the sky looks great mono version.

The sky on the centre left side of the image doesn't look natural, and l have to agree with Tom and say the windmills don't stand out, and get lost in the background, except of course where they break the skyline.

The sky looks like that due to the sunset - but thanks for the feedback

Like a sheep I follow the others, colour for me in this instance. Now step away from your gothic side

Maybe split toning would help the mono?
I vote for the colour too.

Sorry Ian but it's not working for me either...

Has a very over-processed HDR appearance with some strange haloing around the cloud in the sky and some reall awful white lines around the sharpest contrast edges - particularly noticeable where the stonework meets the sky.

cheers the over processed look your picking up on is not HDR but the processor I used to try and pull / highlight parts of the image
