    Poplar DLR Bridge

The cylindrical footbridge over the tracks at the Poplar DLR station.

Processed with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 - downloaded the trial but not sure if I will shell out the best part of £100 to keep it

I use Silver Efex but the consensus appears to be that Tonality is a better option, allows layers.

Like that, Stan. That line of shadow down the centre fell very nicely for you. Was that just happenstance or does the Photographer's Guide have sun tables in it too?

I use both, however I still feel that Silver Efex Pro gives you better control over the image.

not quite Alex but to quote the guide " the best time to visit is a sunny day when the curved metal casts interesting shadows on the floor" - and it was a very sunny day
