    Like the image, if it was mine I'd be tempted to reduce the brightness of cross and gravestone in the BG as they seem to draw the attention away fro the foreground.

            Thanks for your observations. Clearly I've erred on the side of caution with the darkening of the background... I shall take another look.

                  Nigel, I like it as is. The front cross has so much texture that it holds my attention, but then the other bright elements lead my eye to the back of the image. Nicely done.
