    My first BIRDS picture

I thought it was about time to post a picture of some birds - well sort off. Just been playing a little with the free NIK collection. This was from Turkey last year. It’s a picture of my good Lady in Kusadasi. It’s not a composite – the statue with the birds is that big. PP is a bit contrasty but it's just a bit of fun…..

When I clicked on the post I could only see the top half and thought....what, then I scrolled down and saw your good lady it fell into place, thats one unusual statue and you've done a good job with the conversion and with her hands and arms outstretched it goes with the theme of the wings

Thanks. Yes its a most unusual statue and popular - we had to wait a while for other tourists to wander off before I could photograph it. I believe the town of Kusadasi means 'Bird Island'
