    Black Tor Falls in Black

Went for a short second walk this afternoon to work off some of our lunch from the excellent Rugglestone Inn and took this.

For me the tree and the sky work well together and the eye tents to go straight for the tree. IMO, I would do some dodging and burning to lift the rocks and water, so that the eye moves 1st to the bottom left, them up to the tree and sky.

Thanks for commenting. Tom, I could lift the water a tad but the rocks are black so I think it would probably look too processed.
Stan, i'll post the original colour edit from LR in Landscapes and you can decide for yourself. It was bright but not blown and taken with a polariser and a ND grad. The B&W conversion was done in SilverEfex using a preset and then adding 3 or 4 control points as there was quite a range of stuff happening.
        Thanks again.

I like the image and processing, my only comment would be the tree needs a bit more room on the top

I like the composition and the foreground elements are fine to my eye but I find the tree is a bit lost against the sky. I reckon it might be worth a bit of reprocessing to lighten the leaves so the tree stands out a little more.

I like it but agree, the tree is a bit lost.
