The red sandstone tower and ivy-covered walls are all that remains of the 14th century Bishop's Palace in Paignton. Once in clear and open countryside it is now tucked away in a back street and the close proximity of nearby buildings makes photographing the tower a challenge and this one called for some tweaking of the verticals.
