Cheers mate, still enjoying LR but can not for the life of me get Nik as a plugin so use it on PS

        Re: Nik Collecction

all you need do is add as a plugin within LR - the advantage being you only edit a copy and once you've edited it in Nik it exports straight back into LR

Have tried every way I can to get it in as plugin, but it wont show up at all. The only way I can do it is export from PS. I did read on the web that it can be tricky to set it up.

daft question but have you restarted since installing it - all you need do is use the LR plugin manager

              Re: Nik Collecction

              It wasn't tricky for me

How I use it is to:
              • right click an image on the strip along the bottom
              • select 'Edit In' and a whole range of Nik and PS options opens up.

              Seamless

              Especially nice third image BTW

              Cheers,
              John

Dave as well as the option John has given in his response at #7. You should be able to see the NIK plugins in either the Library or Develop modules of Lightroom. In either of them, with a photo selected use the top menu bar select the "Photo" drop down menu, then "edit in" from the drop down menu and you should see your NIK plugins to the right of the right pointing arrow >.

If you cant see then there let's know and we will see if we can help you find them.
