    I took this shot a wee while ago and thought I'd try some black and white editing with it.

      Good subject with well considered composition that works well in mono Viewing on Flickr is essential to appreciate all that lovely detail

            Lovely lovely image, John, and the detail when viewed on Flickr is exceptional. I think I might be tempted to take a little off the top; not much, say about one fifth, but I suspect others prefer to make the most if the great sky as you have.

              Thanks for looking Alex, I had thought of a bit off the top, but wasn't sure as I thought the horizon might have ended up dead centre in the image.
