    Kilchurn in the Rain

I've been sorting out my image storage disks and creating a new folder for images yet to be captured in 2022. Yes it seems that my glass is half full .

Whilst looking at my images from the past year I came across some that I took in Scotland in May. I vividly remember parking the car and walking down to the Loch side in pouring rain to make this image. It was rather driech day as they say in that part of the world, what we do for our photography eh!.

To be honest at the time I thought I would end up creating a black and white image, then on returning home I didn't even bother processing them as the colour versions didn't do much for me and black and white isn't really my style. But given that I had time on my hands today I decided to convert this one.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcomed.

I really like it, I too don't do much in B&W but I am starting to explore it.

When the weather is poor B&W can work really well and avoid having a wasted day as this image proves. I may just take a bit off the bottom to accentuate the castle as the main focal point.
