    A Tree for the Dead

I've tried several times to get a shot of this tree that I'm really happy with and TBH I'm not certain about this one either as I don't think I've managed to get enough separation between the tree itself and the hedge behind. Any thoughts?

Don’t see what else you can do other than mess about with it in photoshop or the likes and make the hedge disappear. Perhaps the tree is a bit tight in the frame.
For a small fee I could come with the Flail and grub the hedge out. —— Isolated Tree

Thanks for your thoughts Trev. Somehow I don't think the church committee would to keen on losing their hedge though...

Oh this is a tough one, no doubt you explored other angles. Maybe the highlights on the hedge could be toned down? My thought if the hedge is darker the tree would stand out more? Not sure how the direction of the sun, I wonder if a lower angle of the sun would light the tree but keep the hedge darker? My two pennies.

              Thanks for your thoughts Kevin.

Clearly I need to try again, fortunately it's not far from home.
