    Wedding by the sea

A wedding location in Moraira, Spain alongside the castle. The sky was incredible and I managed to shoot the ceremony and the posed shots before the heavens opened, thank goodness.

    C&C welcome.

    Love the shot,

Has a moody/eerie feel, great use of the 1/3 rule & leading the eye, nice contrast & tones in the entire shot.

For me the story of the shot is a cool. moody event, filled with loneliness/emptiness.

Hi Colin, it has a great feel to it, and quite unique too - I don't think I've ever seen such a compostion - works great.

After looking at the image a few times I've been asking myself if the sea horizon was off level from the cam, and you choose to straighten the horizon in PP.
Not a crit, just something I thought about. Good stuff !

Trev, The horizon is spot on, I did check in Photoshop, it is the ground that is falling away. I tried leveling the ground and it looked really weird.

        Thanks for the comments guys.

Me too but decided it was an optical illusion as the chairs are not on the level

          Good B & W conversion

Brilliant picture Colin made by the wonderful sky. It is very easy to walk past a picture like this on the day so very well done.
Just one thing, I was almost expecting to see a Druid pop up somewhere................Been living in Wales to long.
