    Venus & Jupiter close conjunction

    Went out Monday night to take a few pictures of the planets in the landscape, these are a few of the nights efforts. Not the greatest but I like them

    Hmmm the first one looks very soft on here but ok on my flickr, oh well

      Myself and a friend shot some pics of this as well with the moon, but hes into all this astro stuff. Good record shots tho.

        No.2 works for me, nice composition...

        I was hoping to capture them too, but was foxed by the cloudy weather here at home...

          Was glad i went out Monday as it's been cloudy since

                  Now I think I know what the two lone stars are that I have seen staring at me each night this week from about 18.00.

                      Annoying to say the least!!

                      I've seen them but never 100% sure what they were - now I know.
                      Lovely colours in #1 and the tree makes a great silhouette
