Thanks Nathaniel... the color version is a washed out image with a pale blue nothing as a sky, no detail in the rocks and in fact was heading towards the bin when I thought I would try processing it this way.
As I said on The Air Raid Warden I am out of my comfort zone with this but wanted to give B&W a try.
I will know after Thursday night whether it should have stayed on the route to the bin as Thursday night is printed images comp and in the back of my mind I have always felt prints should be B&W... up until now I have entered color prints.
