A break in the fog - Holy Island

Not had anything to post recently but managed to get away for the weekend down to a foggy Northumberland.
Captured this one on Sunday morning before the sun rose just as the fog broke up for a short time.

    40D, Sigma 10-20, FL 10mm, Av f/16, Tv 8secs, ISO100, 0.9ND grad.

    C&C welcome.

    Alex,

Lovely picture, great light and very well executed as always.

If I was to make any suggestion I personally would crop a little off the bottom to remove the bright yellow lichen, yes it is very nice, but I find it drags my eye down to the bottom of the picture rather than leading me up the rocks to the castle on the mount.

Beautiful capture. That lens looks as though it's a corker!

Very nice, the eyes are easily lead into the image.

Must have got up early for that one, it was worth it though for a great shot. Like the mist.

Never noticed that before Ian, think I would desaturated it rather than crop the bottom.
                              Thanks for the constructive feedback
