Re: Old Mill, Somerset
That's a lovely shot - plenty of interest, nice water blur, and the water falling over the ridge in a diagonal across the shot. Well picked shot, and well executed.
All the best, Mike.flickr

Re: Old Mill, Somerset
No HDR and no treatment other than slight sharpening in Lightroom. Just a single 30 second exposure at f16 (with X10 ND filter) to slow the water. The mill is actually green (copper corrosion) and red (iron corrosion). To me it looks over sharpened on here, but the original isn't as harsh.

Very nice, it ticks all the boxes for me.Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga
Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography- George Eastman
