    Palladian bridge

This is one of only four remaining Palladian bridges in the world. Shot at Prior Park, Bath, today. I used an inverted water reflection to get this abstract view of it. More info here shows the bridge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prior_P...ndscape_Garden

Thank you, chaps. The light was quite strong and contrasty, and I wanted a traditional shot, but it just wouldn't work, so I went for a reflection. Glad I did.

          Nice one, Rob.
I like that - that shape, proportions and symmetry of these bridges somehow just seems "right" and has always appealled.
Sadly my only trip to Prior Park was in pouring rain....
          Cheers, Chris.

really nice shot Rob. To me it looks like an abstract watercolour in a style similar to a load of paintings which adorn my parents walls!

My only nit is the light reflecting off the water at the bottom / top (which ever side you want to call it!) - to me it looks like the 'painting' has been scratched and spoils it ever so slightly - though it is still a lovely image irrespective of that!
