    Vesuvius from Massa Lubrense

One of my favourite photos from a walking holiday in Italy, taken in May 2009. Looking across to Vesuvius from Massa Lubrense.

Good image, but may I offer a couple of personal observations:

    1) You may want to try giving it some additional contrast in DPP to give a little more 'bite'.

    2) It may be the nature of the distant shoreline but it gives the impression the horizon is tilting slightly to the right?

    3) It may also be worth trying a slightly tighter crop to give focus to the mountain. I would suggest you lose some of the sea from the bottom of the image, maybe the foliage on the left and then trim the right to create balance and emphasis to the main subject.

Just my personal thoughts - (all in the eye of the beholder...)

    keep 'em coming!!
