M1 light trails

My first attempt at long exposures of motorway traffic. I don't have the exif data to hand (at work at the moment) but from memory about
150 seconds at f11 ISO 100 20mm focal length.

Good shot. The composition is great... I would like to have seen a little more detail in the dark areas and a little less noise in the sky though.

Thanks very much for looking and the comment, i would be very appreciative for any tips to combat my problems. I was happy with composition but the technique needs improving.
I believe I had the canon NR option on auto, If I turned it on it would double the exposure time but reduce noise, is that correct? The golden 15 minutes was disappearing fast so my attempts were reduced to only a handful.
