    A walk on the beach

Caught a nice evening last week, and a rare opportunity for a photographic beach-combing outing.

Looked down and this little chap was smiling up at me!

    these are great peter,

love # 2. For me it works even better if you crop off the houses - something about the simplicity. Love the textures in #3 also

            Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments.

Ian, I looked at a crop to leave out the background houses, but prefer the extra depth to the image with them in there.

Agree re the dog - he brings energy to the scene.

All good, but I am with the majority for no 2.

Re: A walk on the beach

                    It's a 9.5 as it stands.

                    Get the 10 by:

                    * Darkening/cloning the backlit smoke from the upper left houses.

                    * Darkening/cloning the sky to blend in with the buildings upper right.

                    * Slight reposition of the figures to the left.

Seems a lot of work for half a mark!

Number two for me, very very closely followed by the ropes in number three.
