    Janet's Foss, Malhamdale, Yorkshire

Janet's Foss is a bonny little fall near Malham, although it's not very photogenic so you have to work it to get the best from the location.

Had a ride over yesterday on my Lambretta, started to rain before I got there, which did not make for pleasant scootering conditions, but provided some excellent light.

All with Canon 1DS MKIII +24-70mm F2.8 lens

Great set Les. #3 is my pick.... it is the foreground rock that gets me every time.
You say the falls are not that photogenic, well you have done them justice.
The B&W is different to what is expected of streams and I think it works well. Wonder how it would look with an "old image" treatment??

Les, really enjoyed looking at these. I'm really envious of you living near these wonderful places. I won't be surprised if we end up going to he dales again soon (you must publish a list of you favourite spots!)

These are lovely. Could see them on the wall. Really like the contrast in 4 between the rugged dark rocks in the foreground and the milky waters behind. Both convey power and strength. I think this is my favourite.

Great selection Les. I really like the Mono, but *3 takes it for me. As I am in a slightly mischievous mood, I did have a mental picture of a dead Vespa decaying into the water.
